Currently President and Vice-Chancellor of Brock University in St.Catharines, Ontario, he has held many senior executive positions at educational institutions here and abroad, where he hasexerted great influence in the field of higher education. He is a former President of both the Association of Universities & Colleges of Canada and the Canadian Bureau of International Education, and was a member of the Advisory Council of the Order of Canada.
