Fifty years ago, Mrs. Fillier helped found the village of Roddickton in Newfoundland. Her long teaching career was crowned by the opening of a new high school at Roddickton with her as principal. Besides having been recognized as one of' her province's great teachers, she has done much for music and church work in the community.
