As a teacher since 1936 at the Canadian School of Ballet, first in Winnipeg and later at Kelowna, British Columbia; as cofounder and ballet mistress of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet; and currently as co-director of the Banff School of Fine Arts, she has made a remarkable contribution to ballet in Canada and has influenced the careers of countless young dancers.
