In addition to his university and professional career, this dentist has worked tirelessly on behalf of cultural and arts organizations, in particular the Canadian Institute of Québec (which he served as president from 1966 to 1969), the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, the Opéra de Québec, the Trident, and the Théâtre du Vieux Québec, as well as a host of local and regional organizations dedicated to the arts and culture.
