An Algonquin of the Golden Lake Reserve near Eganville, Ontario. She has devoted her life to the treatment of the sick, the promotion of Native crafts, education and church work on the reserve. She has contributed notably to the improvement of the lot of her fellow-Indians and to good community relations.
