The creative force behind a number of orchestral groups, he has made a major contribution to the musical life of Québec City. Administrator of the Concerts Couperin and a leading figure in the CBC Chamber Orchestra in Québec City, he was a co-founder of the Québec Philharmonic Centre, and helped introduce the teaching of instrumental music into the city's schools.
