In addition to his work organizing student activities at Canadore College in North Bay, Dean McCubbin was active for many years in a wide range of local, regional and provincial organizations. Such diversified groups as the Ontario Municipal Recreation Association, the Red Cross and seniors' organizations all benefited from his contributions.
