Specialist in Marine Biology who, as Deputy Minister of the federal Department of Fisheries, has served on a numbcr of international bodies. He has been Executive Director of the Huntsman Marine Laboratory at St. Andrews, New Brunswick, and is now Acting Chairman of the Fisheries Research Board of Canada.
