A community Elder, this Labrador Native has devoted her life to helping others in need, providing many services to her community. She represented the Moravian Women's Fellowship of Labrador and Newfoundland at the International Women's Conference in the U.S. and, as a founding member of the Moravian Museum in Hopedale, Labrador, oversees the collection of artifacts and acts as guide and interpreter of the artifacts and of Inuit culture to visiting tourists.
