As a young missionary to Slavey and Beaver Indians in Port Nelson, B.C., as founder and first President of the National Association of Principals and Administrators of Indian Residences and as former Executive Director of the Oblate Indian-Eskimo Council, this retired priest has served Indian communities in the Canadian North with dedication for more than 40 years.
