- Invested on: October 20, 1982
Before and during service in the Second World War, he and his wife performed as a dance team. Later he became a pioneer choreographer and performer on variety television and also staged productions at Stratford and the Canadian National Exhibition. His work at the Charlottetown Festival, and especially the success of Anne of Green Gables and Les Feux Follets, established that festival as the home of Canadian musical theatre.
