Santa Claus, in the guise of Jimmy Lomax, has for many years been distributing food, flowers, toys and money to hospitals and homes for the aged, and to the handicapped and people in need. This work has been done on his own time during vacations from his job as a steel-worker in Hamilton. His sacrificial giving has inspired volunteers in Operation Santa Claus to help in the distribution of some $100,000 annually.
