This member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity has, through her tireless work, made a remarkable contribution to the organization and management of health care in the National Capital Region. As Director General of the Ottawa General Hospital and later of the Elisabeth Bruyère Centre, she established facilities for chronic and palliative care. She has been active in several associations at the regional, provincial and national levels and also helped set up the Federation of Hospital Administrators.
