A member of the Welfare Council of Winnipeg, she helped to bring Polish refugees to Canada after the last war. She has been a leader In Polish women's groups and the Catholic Women's League. Known affectionately as "International Mother", she has helped found the International Centre of Winnipeg, which promotes welfare and good citizenship.
