A United Church missionary nurse, trained at Dauphin, Manitoba. Her commitment to her profession was amply demonstrated during the thirty years she spent in Angola, specializing in leprosy and midwifery. Since her release in 1977 from several months of political imprisonment during the Angolan civil war she has served in Zaire.
