Former Director of the R.S. McLaughlin Examination and Research Centre of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. In recognition of more than forty years of service to medicine: as professor at the University of Alberta, lecturer in Canada and abroad, and member of such bodies as the Canadian Forces Medical Council and the World Health Organization.
