George Jonas' writing is clever, unafraid and compelling. A journalist who has contributed to such broadsheets as The Daily Telegraph and The Wall Street Journal, he is best known in Canada for his semi-weekly National Post columns. He is also a successful scriptwriter, poet, librettist and novelist. His oeuvre includes everything from Vengeance, a novelized account of an Israeli counterterrorist mission that has inspired two films; to The Jonas Variations, his translation of multilingual poems by 50 different authors.
