Jack London is greatly admired for his staunch commitment to First Nations people. As legal counsel and trusted advisor to the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and to the Assembly of First Nations, he has shown exceptional leadership on a multitude of Aboriginal and constitutional issues. He has also distinguished himself through his contributions to his profession and to legal education. Notably, he has served as dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba, as founding chair of the Manitoba Law Foundation and as an advisor to the Canadian Law Teaching Clinic.
