As an associate professor at the University of Manitoba, she has trained the next generation of experts, and emphasized the links between art and science. By engaging with international groups, providing numerous public outreach activities and closely collaborating with world-renowned, multidisciplinary artists, she has deepened our understanding of the structure of galaxies, opening our eyes to the universe.
