An entrepreneur with a passion for poetry, Scott Griffin has made a lasting impact on Canada’s literary arts. Chairman of General Kinetics Engineering Corporation and the House of Anansi Press, he is best known as the founder of the Griffin Poetry Prize, one of the world’s largest awards for English poetry. He has also helped to bring poetry to a younger generation of readers by launching Poetry in Voice, a bilingual poetry recitation contest for Canadian high school students.
