Mathilde Gravelle Bazinet has devoted herself to causes related to health, justice and education. Former dean of the Department of Health Sciences at Canadore College, director at Health Canada and first executive director of the Federal Centre for Workplace Conflict Management, she has contributed greatly to the physical and mental health of Canadians. She is also the founder and Director Emeritus of Nipissing Serenity Hospice, which opened in 2020.
