Hanny Hassan works to enhance understanding between cultures and religions through collaboration and co-operation. An engineer by training, he has been active in everything from grassroots organizations that help immigrants, to the National Muslim Christian Liaison Committee and its efforts to facilitate dialogue between Muslims and Christians. President of the Council of Muslim Communities of Canada for almost two decades, he has worked on advisory committees for Omni Television, the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council and the Attorney General of Ontario.
