Charlene Robertson is a leader in outcomes research for neonatal and pediatric intensive care. Her research examining the effectiveness of different treatments for those who suffer from medical problems at birth and in early life has helped to improve the care and health of children. Professor emeritus in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta, she was instrumental in developing the Neonatal Follow-up Clinic, the Western Canadian Complex Pediatric Therapies Follow-up Program, and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Outcomes Unit. Over the years, she has participated in numerous national, provincial and international committees.
