Tricia Smith is devoted to giving back to sport, specifically to the sport of rowing, which she loves. A lawyer and four-time Olympian with medals in rowing, she has given generously of her time, notably in the areas of women in sport and sports administration. As a member of the International Council of Arbitration for Sport and the executive committee of the International Rowing Federation, she has used her expertise to help ensure equitable opportunities for athletes and for women in particular. She is also senior vice-president of the Canadian Olympic Committee.
