For more than 40 years, Albert Greer has introduced students and audiences to the joy of choral music. In addition to composing music and performing as a soloist, he has directed a long list of choirs, including the Ontario Youth Choir, the Couchiching Young Singers, and the Cellar Singers, a regional choir from the Orillia area. A professor at York University and a strong advocate for Canadian composers, he has been a source of inspiration and encouragement for many young singers.
