An internationally renowned researcher, Maryse Lassonde has advanced our knowledge of the brain. A professor at the Université de Montréal, she is an innovator in neuropsychology. Her scientific work, notably on infant epilepsy, has been published in scientific journals around the world. She is also known for her research into the long-term effects of concussions in athletes. As the long-time neuropsychologist for the Montreal Canadiens, she developed a diagnostic approach and method for investigating these effects, and her results have been shared with medical and paramedical sectors. Her outstanding commitment to the scientific and university communities continues today.
