Warren Blume has enhanced our treatment and management of epilepsy. A professor emeritus of neurology at Western University, he is regarded internationally as a leading authority on electroencephalography, a key technique for diagnosing epilepsy. His text Blume’s Atlas of Pediatric and Adult Electroencephalography is a critical resource for practitioners and neurology trainees. He also co-founded one of Canada’s largest epilepsy units at London Health Sciences Centre and has provided guidance to several professional associations in his field.
