Bruce Clemmensen has helped to ensure high safety standards in Canada’s built environment. A designer, builder and former chair of the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes, he shepherded the renewal of our national building and fire codes. By implementing an objective-based approach, he facilitated a clear and concise application of our construction codes within the building industry. As a result of his leadership, he helped to place Canadian construction standards as one of the best in the world.
