Jean Houde is a leader in Quebec’s financial sector. Having distinguished himself as a director within several large organizations, including the National Bank of Canada and Énergir Inc., he has also devoted himself to public service. As Quebec’s deputy minister of Finance, he helped restore the province’s financial health after it was hit hard by the 2008 financial crisis. A great philanthropist and patron of the arts, he has been exceptionally generous in supporting a wide range of causes and organizations, including Les Violons du Roy and the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde.
