    For his contributions to the Canadian music industry as a musician, singer, songwriter and copyright advocate. Over a career spanning nearly five decades, Bill Henderson has left his mark on the music industry. As a guitarist and singer with the band Chilliwack, he recorded such hits as “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)”. He also went on to establish an international reputation as a songwriter and producer. Fervent in his defence of songwriters and recording artists, he has championed for increased copyright protection and has worked to organize associations designed to protect the rights and commercial interests of musicians.
