Gail Lord is a creative and visionary museum planner. Co-founder and co-president of
Lord Cultural Resources, she has spent more than three decades developing the field of
museum planning. She has worked with new and existing cultural institutions, such as
the Tate Modern, the Louvre-Lens, the Smithsonian and the Canadian Museum for
Human Rights to design floor plans, create new exhibitions and undertake strategic
planning. She has co-authored museum best practices that are used the world over,
and has championed the role of the cultural sector in economic and social development.
