Gina Cody has helped transform the fabric of engineering. A Canadian of Iranian descent and the first woman to obtain her Ph.D. in building engineering at Concordia University, she went on to distinguish herself as the head of a leading engineering firm in Toronto. A role model and trailblazer, she has staunchly advocated for gender equity, diversity and social inclusion, benefiting those aiming to pursue a career in the field.
