Peter Vaughan is a leader in the digital transformation and modernization of health care. Through his roles as deputy minister of Health and Wellness for Nova Scotia, CEO of the Canadian Medical Association, and chair of Canada Health Infoway, he has launched initiatives to improve access to virtual health care, reduce wait times, and facilitate the secure sharing of patient information. A former flight surgeon, he was appointed colonel commandant of the Royal Canadian Medical Service in recognition of his dedication and leadership.
