Trailblazer Al Mair has paved the way for Canadian artists. A champion of musical talent at home and abroad, he established the Attic Music Group independent record label, which earned 114 gold, platinum and multi-platinum records worldwide. Co-founder of the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency and of the Canadian Independent Music Association, his significant behind-the-scenes contributions have been instrumental in developing our country’s music industry. Throughout his five-decade career, this CMW Hall of Famer has shared his time and expertise through his leadership of vital music associations.
