For decades, Fran Olson has worked to improve the quality of life for her fellow citizens.
A trailblazer and devoted community volunteer, she founded Edmonton’s Festival of Trees and was the first woman to chair the University Hospital Foundation. She is known for her keen ability to raise funds for and connect individuals to various charitable causes. Her long-standing service has helped raise awareness and funds for major health care efforts and support for initiatives in the arts, education and entrepreneurship.
