Joyce Hisey has left her mark on the world of figure skating. From her local club to Olympic and World events, she has been a dynamic committee member, judge, referee and organizer. A steady voice for fairness, she represented Canada on numerous international panels, produced a guidebook for event management and helped rewrite technical manuals on the discipline of ice dance. She has been a mentor to many skating officials, coaches and athletes, and a supporter of numerous charitable and community associations.
