As the Task Force–Latvia senior intelligence analyst from July 2019 to July 2023, Sergeant Baronaitis expertly led the analytical cell during a period of extreme geopolitical and military change in the region. Under his guidance, the cell provided timely and actionable intelligence support to allies and all Canadian Armed Forces deployed operations in Europe. Sergeant Baronaitis became recognized within the intelligence community as a trusted reference on Russia and Belarus military activity, bringing great credit to Canada.
