In March 2019, Major McGrath was a supported member at Transition Centre Toronto who became the commanding officer of Transition Centre Borden in August 2022. With determined spirit, she was instrumental in increasing assistance and developing the military-to-civilian transition capability of the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group. Her compassion ensured the best care and retention opportunities were provided to the ill and injured under her supervision. Major McGrath’s effective contributions to strategic initiatives made a positive impact on the Canadian Armed Forces.
