    As tactical receiver operator aboard HMCS Calgary, Leading Seaman Teasdale took part in a mission to the South and East China Seas from August to December 2018. Thanks to his technical expertise and innovative thinking, tactics and procedures used by foreign intelligence collection vessels were updated. Leading Seaman Teasdale’s remarkable work led to the development of relevant intelligence reports, which resulted in a greater understanding of the marine threat environment in that region and strengthened Canada’s expertise in the field.
