From 2010 to 2019, Major Gauthier demonstrated outstanding leadership as team leader of the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) project management section. Recognized for his dedication and expertise, he was responsible for the delivery, ongoing support and airworthiness of each UAS piloted by the Canadian Armed Forces, representing five fleets in total. Major Gauthier also collaborated with various external organizations, including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and served as chair of the NATO Maritime UAS Multinational Working Group.
