From March to August 2017, Lieutenant-Colonel Lubiniecki actively contributed to building the capacity of Ukrainian forces, thereby further strengthening international alliances. As commander of Joint Task Force Ukraine, he demonstrated decisive leadership and dynamic insight during a period of volatility and instability. He worked tirelessly with Ukrainian senior staff to modify support infrastructure and incorporate new training methods, especially with respect to reinforcing the senior non-commissioned officer corps. His collaborative approach to mission planning, training and mentoring improved operational effectiveness and morale, contributing to a legacy of security and sovereignty in Ukraine.
