Chief Warrant Officer McCann was deployed to Kuwait from December 2017 to October 2018 as sergeant major of Joint Task Force Iraq. A dedicated member of the command team, he unified 650 members in three countries to form an effective team and has distinguished himself by his positive approach to challenges and changes. An exemplary leader, he was heavily involved in the international coalition’s efforts to ensure security in Iraq, support the local government and fight Daesh in the region.
