    Dean and Jeanine Otto founded Maddy’s Gala after losing their five-year-old daughter to an inoperable brain tumour. Benefiting Roger Neilson House, a pediatric residential hospice on the grounds of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Maddy’s Gala has raised just under $1 million since its creation, and serves as an inspiration to and source of support for families suffering loss.
