In memory of her husband, Caroline Bouchard created the Fondation Jacques-Bouchard to support access to in-home palliative care. Today a model for Quebec government authorities, this initiative has considerably improved the care offered each year to more than 3000 families and provided support to care teams and respite to family members caring for a loved one at the end of their life.
