Toronto, Ontario As the chief executive officer of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017, Michael Burns spearheaded a team that delivered a world-class adaptive sporting competition for ill, injured and wounded service members and veterans. The Games were a great success and helped to increase Canadians’ awareness of and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our military personnel. For the athletes and their families, the experience lent meaningful support on their road to recovery.
