Hy and Sandy Goldman founded the non-profit arts festival KlezKanada to celebrate traditional Yiddish Klezmer music and to reinvigorate the culture through a new generation of artists and audience members. Over the course of two decades, the event has grown and gained international stature. It now draws teachers, participants and scholarship recipients from around the world who explore Jewish history, language and literature, as well as music and dance.
