Amyot Michael Aymong has played a key role in the development, in 1990, of Concerned Children’s Advertisers (CCA), a non-profit consortium of 24 Canadian businesses which advertise products and services to children and their families. Under Mr. Aymong’s leadership, CCA has set a standard for the quality of messaging for children. It has created and implemented initiatives to provide Canadian youth with the tools to better deal with some of the most challenging issues affecting their lives. The organization has become a role model for other countries, who are striving to combine the teaching of media literacy with the social responsibility of caring for children.
