In 2003, Andrew Connors led the creation of the Available Light Film Festival, an annual 10-day event put on by the Yukon Film Society. In the many roles he has played over the years, including festival director, producer, mentor, programmer and fundraiser, he has continually promoted northern, Indigenous and Canadian films, and has enriched the wider community. His stable leadership has helped the festival become the largest of its kind in Canada’s North.
