On May 29, 2012, Montréal police constables Carl Ethier and Luc Roberge rescued a suicidal woman from the top of a 22-storey building in Montréal, Quebec. The constables scaled a four-foot-high safety wall and crawled on a narrow ledge towards the intoxicated victim. They placed themselves dangerously close to the edge in order to reach her and bring her to safety.
