Mr. Logue risked his life to save a teaching colleague from a stabbing on April 21, 1994, in Toronto, Ontario. He had been working late at the school, when he suddenly heard a cry for help coming from the hallway. He rushed into the corridor to see a female teacher struggling with a man who was holding a knife. The attacker had forced her to the ground and was almost overpowering her. Without hesitation, Mr. Logue grabbed the armed man and pulled him off the teacher. While she fled to call the police, the two men struggled. Mr. Logue was eventually able to knock the assailant to the ground, disarm him and hold him until the police arrived.
